Despite it packing a powerful punch already, Fender have ensured that this bass will perfectly accommodate a wide variety of players. Therefore, featured on board are two volume controls that edit each of the pickup's levels individually. Alongside that, you are also provided with a master tone control for shaping the sound to suit your style of performance. Experience greatness.

The perfect tonewood build

This bass has been crafted with a combination of quartersawn maple for the neck and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. This iconic duo produces some of the most beautiful harmonics with the type of rich clarity that differentiates the notes of even the most complex of chords. Thanks to this, your tine will no longer be hindered by a muddy sound.

Bright, loud, and focused tones are produced by the maple, whilst its complementary rosewood fingerboard evens out any harsh sound to bring you a brilliant balanced performance, which is further enhanced by an amazing alder body. The body offers a pronounced upper midrange, crisp articulation, and a full-bodied sonic that thrives with a wide variety of playing styles.

Complementing the incredible tones and sonic capabilities is a construction that offers an exceptional playing experience. The jazz bass neck has been carved with a 1960s U profile, which provides the perfect base for fast and fearlessly fretting. It also sits naturally and comfortably in the palm of your hand while you dance across the fingerboard. On top sits a rosewood fingerboard with a round laminated finish, making your fingers feel as though they're floating on air - perfect for practising tricky techniques.
