Step back in time with the UB-Xa's Vintage Mode. This feature allows you to select from 8 synthesizer signatures, including the legendary OB-Xa and OB-8. With the UB-Xa, you can recreate the iconic sounds that shaped the music of the past and bring them into the present.

Limitless sound design

With 16 voices and 2 VCOs per voice, the UB-Xa gives you incredible flexibility and depth in your sound design. The oscillator sync mode adds a touch of complexity to your patches, allowing you to create rich harmonics and complex textures. Whether you're layering two different sounds or splitting the keyboard, the UB-Xa's multi-timbral capability opens up a world of sonic possibilities.

Faithful and authentic

The UB-Xa's VCOs and VCFs are based on the original 3340 and 3320 semi-conductor designs, ensuring an authentic and true-to-the-original sound. You'll find sawtooth, triangle, and square waveforms at your fingertips, with variable pulse width for added versatility. The selectable dual-slope 12/24 dB analog low-pass filter per voice with adjustable resonance allows for further tonal variety.

Expressive playability

Featuring 61 semi-weighted full-size keys with poly after-touch and velocity sensitivity, the UB-Xa offers a responsive and expressive playing experience. The velocity and after-touch can used to add further movement to your performances.

Endless sonic exploration

The UB-Xa boasts a flexible 8-channel modulation matrix, giving you the ability to modulate pulse width, oscillator pitch, and filter cutoff frequency. With 2 dedicated LFOs and 7 waveform shapes, you have even more control over your sound, allowing you to create intricate and evolving textures.

Real-time parameter editing

With 26 rotary controls and a high-quality LCD display, the UB-Xa offers direct and real-time access to all important parameters. The assignable preset recall switches make it easy to switch between your favorite sounds on the fly, giving you instant access to patches.
